Abstract:
The key ingredient of the unified quark model is a universal one-gluon-exchange-plus-linear-confinement potential motivated by quantum chromodynamics (QCD). It is crucial because it incorporates the relativistic effects into it. The main goal of this project was to improve the Hamiltonian of mesons in a relativized quark model with chromodynamics by using different kinds of techniques such as adding relativistic effects or by using smearing motion. The second phase incorporates the simulation of running coupling constant of QCD that requires a good knowledge of programming.
